Collecting general information

When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically recorded. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and the like. This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the contents of web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us, in order to optimize our Internet appearance and the technology behind it.

When visitors visit our website, the IP addresses of the visitors are automatically recorded and stored in log files.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption techniques (such as SSL) over HTTPS.

Deletion or blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. Therefore, we only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes mentioned here or as provided for by the various storage periods provided for by law. After discontinuation of the respective purpose or expiration of these deadlines, the corresponding data are routinely blocked and deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

The IP addresses of visitors to our websites are stored for a maximum of seven days to detect and prevent attacks.

Use of cookies

We use cookies in various places on our website.

Cookies are small identifiers that a server stores on the device that you use to access our website or our services. They contain information that can be retrieved when accessing our services, thus enabling more efficient and better use of our services.

We use so-called session cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your web browser.
The cookies serve to improve our services and the use of certain features and settings. For example, the presentation and navigation of our website can be simplified with the help of cookies.

At no time, however, the cookies placed on your device identify the user, but only the device used. You can set your browser to inform you before setting cookies or to block the setting of cookies. Under certain circumstances certain functions of our web offer will not be usable for you.

Using Script Libraries (Google Webfonts)

In order to render our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we can use script libraries and font libraries on this website such as, for example, Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google web fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to prevent multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web fonts or prohibits access, content will be displayed in a standard font.

The call of script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible - but currently also unclear whether and if so for what purposes - that operators of such libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Using Adobe Typekit

We can use Adobe Typekit to visualize our website. Typekit is a service of Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd. which grants us access to a font library. To integrate the fonts we use, your browser needs to connect to an Adobe server in the US and download the font we need for our website. Adobe will receive the information that your website has been called from your IP address. For more information about Adobe Typekit, see the Adobe privacy policy, which can be found here: www.adobe.com/privacy/typekit.html

Using Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map features by visitors. For more information about Google's data processing, please refer to the Google Privacy Notice. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the privacy center.

Embedded YouTube videos

On some of our websites we embed YouTube videos. The corresponding plug-ins are operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, it will connect to Youtube's servers. Youtube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. This can be prevented by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behavior.

Anyone who has disabled the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will not have to expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos.YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in the browser.

For more information on data protection at "Youtube", see the privacy policy of the provider at: https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy/

Likewise, you have the right to correction, blocking or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business transactions, deletion of your personal data. Please contact us. The contact details can be found at the bottom.

For a data block to be taken into account at all times, these data must be stored in a block file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data, as long as there is no legal archiving obligation. As far as such an obligation exists, we block your data on request. Collection of General Information (see above) cannot be blocked.
